Bill H..
Charlie, if that were an Lyman Gun Sight Corp. "L" marked Winchester front sight it would be more like twice that
Bill,
I only have 1 L marked one and it's attached to a WRA I'm still paying for.
But after seeing what that Ebay WRA sight sold for. I may very well dig out the 6 WRA frt sights I do have. Noticed frt sights are high lately. Also have 5 or 6 WRA triggers, sears and extra "EW" safeties, along with 1 early checkered (I believe to be WRA or RMC used).
Been trying to watch going rates now that Ebay will allow parts again. Have extra barrels, bolts, slides, housings, stocks etc that I don't need anymore. Never had any luck on GB as far as selling, but may try GB or here on the sell page for a couple receivers - 5 mil Inland, W code- 2 mil Underwood. I just seem to get lost in the hundreds of auction pages on GB. Goal being sell enough to pay off a 1,030K WRA in issued condition.
OHH, Those rear sight bases I pictured. I have 7 of those. All are real, 5 are missing the leafs, pins and springs. I have 1 real leaf, 1 real pin and 1 repro leaf spring, (old leaf spring was rusted in half) That's how I found that .U. marking after wire brushing out the crud from inside. May I stress here that though no one would want to take a flip sight apart, be sure to get some oil under the spring !!
I may have to find correctly made repro leafs and offer the flip sights as only being HALF REPRO !!
Cheers Bill,

I have a RMC project I plan to finish this summer. Have everything I need for it, but time

I was expecting $50 and would have been happy with $40. I paid $15 for it at a GS recently, it was attached to a demilled section of barrel. The guy had a dozen of them, many were coded WW2 production front sights. I should have bought them all.

It must've been the last item he needed and wasn't finding one. Yep, you should've bought them all. We never have that kinda stuff at shows. Nothing but mags and an odd stock.

That repro'd .U. flip sold for $86.00,
Underwood M1 Carbine Type 1 Rear Flip Sight Marked S | eBay
Same seller has more parts up for sale.
For some of his items he states "I believe it is a reproduction not original USGI. It fits properly and function correctly"
On others he adds "Please use your our judgement to determine if this an reproduction or original part and bid accordingly"
This Type II band is a sure repro...
eBay - New & used electronics, cars, apparel, collectibles, sporting goods & more at low prices
Even though the seller states this about some of his parts ( like the mag catches) " I believe it is a reproduction not original USGI", people are still bidding on them.
I guess I just don't understand
Must be cheaper than George?
FWIW,
