My Speer Manual #10 shows Speer 150 Gr. SP using IMR 4895 as follows: 41gr-MV 2663; 43gr-MV 2779 and max load 45gr-MV 2907. I have used this load at 43gr. it is OK but prefer to use Hornady Bullets with 0.312" dia.

You quoted data for Speer 100 grain Plinker Bullets and IMR 4895 from Speer #10, NOT 150 grain Spitzers... Please edit, or to the mods, please edit to show:

    Speer #10 maunual
    .303 Britishicon
    150 grain .311" Speer Spitzer

    Start: 38 grains IMR 4895
    MAX 42 grains IMR 4895

I have reloaded .303 for a long time, and immediately knew there was a problem with the numbers; newer, or inexperienced reloaders of the caliber may not have caught it. Not saying your data is necessarily "dangerous" (Lyman has used the same recipie in older manuals), simply that what was posted per the stated source is not correct. Regards.
