Most of them will have the old serial number lined out and the new serial number with the prefix of CR or ER being the Irish issue. Not sure on the G marked, photo shows a Enfield 1904 with both original serial and Irish serial lined out with the new serial G 839 (bolt is G 837). Check your barrel to find the date could still be original
