If you go the the "Gunboard Forums" site and then go to the Mauser K98icon part of the forum, you will find there are a number of posts related to this seller. I believe you will find these posts under the heading of “Turd found” or something like that. I will let those interested go to that site and draw their own conclusions, as I honestly do not have enough knowledge on K98 rifles to be able to comment intelligently. K98 rifles sell for a wide range of prices in the US, depending on the degree of correctness; as such there is a high incentive to “improve” rifles of that type in the US.
