Would there be any intererst in:
A reproduction of the pendulum launching sight for the SMLE?
I am thinking of getting a quote on a small run of grenade launching sights for the SMLE. I'd probably have to get a minimum of 50 units, possibly 100, but just wanted to test the waters and see if any interest.
If this note is out of order here, please delete....

I'd be interested in an original if I could find one for sale, but if I couldn't find that, a repro would be good ....

I have never seen another original one on the loose. I'm even hesitant in sending this one away for a quote...

Love to see more detailed pics of the original, for posterity and research ...
Thanks ...

I would think there would be quite a bit of interest. There are a lot of the grenade firing rifles out there and I wouldn't be the only one interested in having a correct style sight for one.

You can add me to the list
Oh by the way, Warren, what ever happened with that extra target frame for the Swift Training rifle that you were going to sell to me?

different SMLE pendulum grenate launching sight
Warren I am also interested. Pictured is my sight. The top is notched to fit the rear sight leaf. No broad arrow but a 238 number and makers initials which I can't remember right now. There are certainly not commonly seen. I feel this one is WWI period and your sight is between wars or WWII. Opinion not fact. best, p.

then there is the Indian sheet metal grenade sight which pivots on those two little holes you find on the mid barrel band of some of their No1Mk3 rifles. Once bought the rifle just to get that sight (and the spigot launcher)

You could add me to the list Warren. I would take two. Do t hey only go with the "cup" or were they also used with the sheet metal piece which fitted onto the bayonet lug/bayonet, and nested a rod grenade?
