I have several muzzle covers like you have Bizio, they all fit very tight on the M1
30.06! They were meant to fit on the Garand as well as on the M1 carbine.

Thanks theholeinthedonut.
I think the strip is too short for M1
Garand, or maybe poppers distance is wrong so that I can't lock the strip around the barrel.

They fit tight, and the strap will fit,You just cant wrap it around the main cover. It will fit below it.Also, when You put it on start at the lock screw and then slide upwards over the front sight. Here is a pic of one I put on to demonstrate.HTH

Even if it was not easy to lock the popper, it worked. Thanks again.

You are very Welcome. This may be the reason that the ones I have seen in original WW2 Pictures have the strap either hanging or removed.

Is that true that during WWII some soldiers used to cover their M1
muzzles with a condom and not with the proper canvas cover ?
I thought this was a use during Vietnam war only ...
