    Like MK VII said, some Eddystones that have been rebarreled (N/A for original barrel/receivers) will exhibit a stress crack on (normally) the right receiver ring, usually between the 12 o'clock and 3 o'clock position.

    Its getting pretty rare to find a cracked one nowadays but they do surface occasionally, but I wouldn't want you to get scared and blow it off on that small chance, just make sure that if (on the rare occasion) you do get a cracked one that you can return or exchange it.
