Looked at his selling history. Mar 20, 2012 he shows a listing that sold for $450.

Exactly what he is asking for this one.
Same write up in the listing, same photo. Looks like it is either a scam or trap to me.

Hey Jim,
The Auction I posted about is the same one. Winning bidder was named Jeep1man, He left positive feedback for this seller on March 27. Jeep1man used the Buy It Now @ $450.

I thought it was a current auction, my mistake.

Wow. I'm not used to seeing carbine barrels on ebay. I didn't know they had relaxed the rules that much. Looks like there are many parts kits and barrels listed. Happy Hunting!

Charlie,
It's interesting that the two guys who ran up the bids for the lawrencephillip68 auctions didn't even bid on identical items in the other auctions that are priced lower and going off sooner.
Just should indicate to bidders to watch and maybe look at the bidding names. Stay away from listings that go crazy.

Makes one wonder if this is just a scam to get Ebay to clamp down again? I cannot recall this many m2 parts available at one time. Am I mistaken that this is a felony ?

I believe it is legal to possess up to three (???) of the parts, but not all or BATF says you have a machine gun even if they are just loose parts.
