Newby here, Hello everyone., I've been collecting for about 20 yrs, recently got into Mil-surps, I shoot the John C. Garand matches and alternate between an AR and a M1, recently got me an M1A
to go along with my Mosin and SKS's, my last purchase is a Universal M1 Carbine, 2nd gen. according to my research (still apprehensive about getting this), I found this while looking for info on my carbine, looks like a great site.

Another newbie
Just a quick hello. Just joined the site a few days ago and have found this place to be a world of knowledge. You folks really know your stuff and have some great collections. I have just been given a sporterized Winchester model 1917 that I was very interested in finding out about. I got a little more than I thought I would

hi guys, fell in love with the Garand at my uncles funeral, i heard the hulls rattle on the concrete, felt the cold chills the 06 and the military tribute made run up and down my spine and i was hooked. i am very grateful for the soldiers who served and serve, would like to continue the greatest generations values, help when i can, and do what i must to continue the United States

Hi, I'm a new member from TN. I have just started collecting, started with an Tula Mosin Nagant and a Nagant revolver, did a restoration on a Chinese sks just to see if I could. Bought a great M1
Garand from the CMP
.
I wanted a more difficult project for me and my dad to work on, and have settled on making a Semi-auto Bren gun. (My primary reason for joining)

Hi All.....
Just wanted to say hello and congratulate you folks on a very nice and informative website. Well done.
I like many of you have experience with quite a few different milsurp rifles from many nations and eras and always enjoy sharing knowledge and info about them.
