Ross Rifle for sale, info needed.

I had to turn down an extremely good M1905 earlier this year for $750.00. The chap was a well-known Ross collector and felt this was the 2nd best version he'd ever seen. He had recently acquired the ABSOLUTE best and this was, therfore, on the market.
Unfortunately the Canadian Revnue Agency apprised me of something and suddently any money I could have put towards it disappeared.
A +VG M1910, which is the version I'd prefer, went for $475.00 at gun auction in the spring, here in Ontario.
Draw any conclusion from this you wish.
