Parker Hale sight
I have what appears to be a Parker Hale reciever sight marked FH16 A. Does anyone have a cross referance as to what gun this sight fits? Thanks

I think that you will find that it is PH16A, and the P is worn (or badly stamoed) and looks like an F.
The PH16 series were made to fit on various sporting rifles, including Mausers, but NOT any type of British service rifle, as far as I know.
Unless someone comes up with exact knowledge, I think you will have to take a close look at the fitting and try to work out what shape of action body it might fit. Difficult, I know, so a picture posted here might get you further advice.
