A Collector's View - The SMLE Short Magazine Lee Enfield 1903-1989. It is 300 8.5x11 inch pages with 1,000+ photo’s, most in color, and each book is serial-numbered. Covering the SMLE from 1903 to the end of production in India in 1989 it looks at how each model differs and manufacturer differences from a collecting point of view along with the major accessories that could be attached to the rifle. MR,
I was LMAO after seeing you'd won that one.
Really........... A great price for it. I looked it over for a while thinking about buying, if I thought I could fix it.
I was happy that I remembered the old post by JimF and seen it was the real deal. I would have plugged the holes and basically ended up doing a Bubba to it.
Guess it goes without saying much more, I don't know squat about these.

    Cheers,
    Charlie-painter777

P.S. Ready to join in the 'Rain Dance' ?

I still have that Marlin marked stock. Can't mount a sniperscope out my way. I don't know what to do with it.

Well , I did see one set up that was done by a fellow in Calif. He could not have an active infrared either , so he bought a non-working one , installed a regular scope inside , and mounted her on a carbine. Had a couple of tiny holes he could reach in with a long bladed screwdriver to adjust the scope inside.
