Long. odd story. Off my bad memory RIA had Savage make the blanks? Finished by another firm and shipped in the white to RIA. They parkerized them and mounted very few. Sold off 1947(?) through DCM sales. Very small number ever made and seldom seen today.

"The RIA barrels were manufactured in 1942 using blanks supplied by Remington and turned to size by Savage. RIA did the final machining. According to Ferris, a total of 2,100 barrel blanks were supplied by Remington. The barrels are very scarce" source JB. Very uncommon, hang on to it.Information
