Another new guy here, my family has been into milsurp since the NRA was giving out Krags. I inherited a lot of WW2 stuff and have been onto WW1 stuff myself for the last ten years or so. I chanced on this site researching 22 trainers, looks like another great site full of specialized collectors. Just wanted to say "Hi" before I start asking questions!

31 Does anyone know if the Italian
Carcano sling adapter will work on the K-31 Swiss
carbine. K-31 part seem to be as scarce as hens teeth!

Newbie
I'm new to the forum, I've been collecting WW2 Firearms since 2004, though I'm upwards of 20 Firearms not all are WW2, five or so are modern firearms, though I haven't been able to collect as much since I Joined the Marine Corps in 2005 and have been in and out of the US for most of my time in.

Hi folks,
This is my introduction. I have been a member of this forum for months, but just now getting around to posting something. I have been a firearms enthusiast since I was a kid in the early 1970s, and my first gun was a Spanish Air Force Mauser in 8x57 that I bought for $17.99 (paper route money). Back in those days, the Woolco store in Tallahassee kept racks of old Mausers (and surplus ammo for $2/box) in the sporting goods department. If I could turn back the clock, I would have bought a couple of those Mausers each month (and Microsoft stock)! Over the years I've bought and sold many dozens of guns, but still have that Mauser!

Hello! My name is Dan Stewart. I live in South Carolina. I picked up an Enfield m.1 MKIII last week. I am just a regular guy who likes WWI and WWII weapons. This rifle for me is in good shape, I am cleaning it up no so much a restoration but to be a shooter. I will be popping up here and there on`the forums. Thanks for having me.
