Yes, the rifle does have a scope mounted to it. I removed the scope to take the picture.

out of curiosity, how has the bolt handle been altered?
The bolt handle has been heated and bent and reshaped to clear a scope when cycled, or possibly cut off and a replacement welded on. An original bolt would not require notching of the stock.
