You're killing me Dan! The mail lady came today and NO journal.....
I want to read about the barn wood!!!!!!
Don't blame me - I voted for Palin.
"Every Airfield should be a stronghold of fighting
air-groundmen, and not the abode of uniformed
civilians in the prime of life protected by
detachments of soldiers." Winston Churchill.

Mine arrived Thursday. Good reading. The article by Rick on Garand
barn wood is great. Now I am searching barns.

Dan, check out the back cover. Does the 3rd GI in the truck on the right have a gas trap or is it a launcher.

I love the GCA
Journal. Something is accepted as the truth and they find something that throws new light on an alternative. I'm talking about chromed ports on WWII rifles. "Good on ya" to those involved with that article.

Convention will be at Anniston, Alabama this October 9,10, and 11 2009. I was hoping to get all the information on the convention but that is all they have right now.

Using a magnifying glass, looks like a standard M1
, but he's holding it kinda canted slightly to one side.

Mine showed up in CO Thurs. Excellent reading, as always. That article on the barn wood almost made me swoon ;-).

Guess they may send out alphabetically, as my last name ends in "W" I always seemto get my Journal at least a week after everyone else. By that time, after reading all the posts related to the new Journal, I know everything that is in it.

Sorta with they could have a minimum of a bi-monthly GCA
Journal. That would be nice.
