    That is an interesting topic as one of the things keeping me away from acquiring a Swede or a Swissicon is expense of the ammo. Thus I went with Finn Mosin and 7.62x54R.

    The only way I could ever to afford to shoot one would be through reloading. The G&A article above provides some interesting info, and recommends you should pick up a Speer #14 manual as giving data for the stronger Swedes. There also seems to be some use of IMR 4320 among reloaders on line. The other link was also helpful in pointing out that it seems to like many medium and slow burning powders. Therefore I suspect good loads in 4350 can be developed. That also puts old standby's IMR 4064 and 4895 in the running, and for that cartridge my intuition tells me 4064 would be very good. I have no experience reloading this one. Based upon my older Lyman 46th Edition manual and research on line, if I were going to reload for it, I would be taking a good look at IMR 4320, in addition to 4350 and 4064.
