Thanks Roger and Bigduke.
Roger - with regards the results on the Huns Head target the sandbag has to take some of the credit!
When I bought the No4(T) both turrets on the scope were seized - a common problem apparently on a rifle that hasn't been used for a while - this one hadn't been used/shot for over 10 years.
I have Peter's excellent book on No32 scopes and having a background in precision engineering decided to tackle the job myself. (After a LOT of deliberation though!)
Being methodical and very careful it proved to be OK - the grease had hardened in the drums, so they were completely stripped, cleaned and sparingly re-greased with graphite grease.
They work a treat now!
The rifle is also one that is fitted with a solid foresight block - its cetainly been with the rifle since the FTR in the 50's as it has Suncorite on it that matches the barrel..
