That's some impressive list Mag Fed. Need to ask, exactly how many Enfields do you have in your collection, besides the LB's listed?

Hi Gary,
Separate PM sent. You can never have enough, right ! No intention of ever really counting either.

1942, No4 Mk1*, 21L9422, Brass Buttplate.
I really don't know much about Enfields. Should probably buy a book. I am guessing the wood has to come off to see the markings?

Mag Fed, that LB No. 4 would fit right in with my WW II RCAF uniform and kit collection!
I'd love to see the RCAF markings, can you post a picture or two?

Maple Leaf, I wonder how they got that run of four rifles with consecutive serial numbers? When was the converson done? If late, (i.e. 50's) it would lead me to believe they had crates of new/unissued rifles laying about. Otherwise, consecutive numbers would be VERY hard to come by.
But, we just saw 4 come out of a crate, didn't we?
Peter, there is a Savage serial number listing that on Gunboards, but it has long since gone inactive. I guess the keeper of it learned all there was to know about Savages.
