Three To The Range For Monthly Military Match
I took three rifles to the monthly Military match. The Enfield was without glass since it is out for overhaul. I took my Gibbs and my new to me Springfield. We shoot sighters and 5 rounds per target 4 times. That is 20 shots for score. Sometimes the picture is good for me and the target reflects that and sometimes fuzzy but fun was had by all. It was warm so the barrels did get hot with a 30 minute time limit for sighters and score. We try to start early to beat the heat. I posted pics of the targets and rifles so we could chuckle about good and less than good groups. For my eyes the lighting and target layout affects my sight picture. The target for the rifle pictured follows. It is obvious to me after today that shooting iron sights accurately takes good eyes and lots of practice.

Was this 100 or 200? Were you at a bench or what position, prone, kneeling or offhand. I'm assuming it was some kind of supported position. Seems like the Top right targets is where you were dialed in well, obviously, with both of the 03's. Really good shooting though. Especially if it was 200. But even 100 that's good stuff. I'm thinking.
Thanks for posting.
