Yep,
As you know Frank...
So many stocks have cracks and splits that can't be seen until they are cleaned.
I remember talking with RickB about this years ago.
You'll get R done and I'm sure it will come out nice.
Cheers,

May I ask what type of glue you use in repairing a stock?

Frank,
I've seen your work. Make sure you show the reapired stock when you're done. People will be amazed, I'm sure.

Here are some of the repairs done so far.
The split in the bottom will require some hand work to make it disapear. I'll get a pic of it when done.
The recoil plate ledge is also done.
The chip on the left rail is next, then oil to taste and we should be done.
I have all of the Loctite, Krazy and Gorilla glues and use what is best for the job.
Best Regards.....Frank

Jim, it was hot over the weekend. Takes time to decide what piece will work.
Why not sit back and contemplate what to use.
Had a friend that was following this repair check it out and they could not find the repair. After some reoiling it should not be seen.
Best Regards.....Frank
