My local gun auction, after skipping a month, is back with a major yawn tomorrow. Highlights include a fairly good condition JapaneseType I that had it's stock cut off and someone's name stamped into the receiver. A Carcano 38 carbine that has been polished to an inch of it's life, blued, stock sanded much smaller than the butt plate and varnished. A nice Westinghouse 91/30 that has all the original US made parts on it with a cut down stock, missing fore end and an extended and welded bolt handle that looks unbelievably bad.
I'm sitting this one out.Information
