1946 C-7 Longbranch .22 No serial number
Hello
Recently purchase an unissued C-7 .22 made by Longbranch in 1946, there is no serial number
The wrist has been engraved with MAS, the bolt is also stamped MAS.
Never seen this before, is it normal ??
Thanks for any insight

The C.No7 actions were (and are) commonly available with the original serial number removed. All sorts of weird things have been engraved and stamped on them by their post service owners.
