To bad I can't bring that Type 1 into Canadaicon for a decent price. The brokerage fees are killers. I could sure use the bolt or even the bolt body from that tinkered rifle.

The Type 1 bolt is identical to a regular Carcano but the ejector is in the center, rather than off to one side and the bolt face is slightly larger as well to accept the 6.5x50 case head.

I have a regular Carcano bolt to modify but a real one would be much more appreciated.

Any Canadians reading this that have a spare Type 1 Japaneseicon Carcano bolt that needs a rifle to mate up to????
