Have you tried every position possible looking for a Inland Crossed cannons stamp on the Right rear side/ Just about 1-2" forward of the oval cut oiler slot???
Look Close........ I think you'll find a piece of it.
Oh, BTW Looking for a Faint Crossed Cannons stamp is 3rd or 4th on the list....

Did you copy down all the parts markings and types?

I think I may have located fragments of the crossed cannons. About an inch or so from the oiler cutout, about level with the bottom of the cutout. Is that correct placement for the crossed cannons?

That was my mistake on the punch mark thing. I saw it on the bolt too, so I assumed...

I'm working on the markings and types for all the parts now actually.
Inland Type III bolt
IBM Type II slide
Magazine catch appears to be marked "WA" just above the "M"
Rear sight has an "H" inside of a shield
Front sight has the "Z" or "N"
The hammer is marked "HI"
Trigger guard is Winchester I think. Though it has a "C" and a "U" stamped into it, so I'm not sure

I don't see any punch type (crater) stake marks to tighten your sight to the dovetails of the receiver.
Can see the 1 chisel type stake mark on the frt right side.
Even though the metal that was in that stock has been thru a aresenal rebuild...
Was it your current carbine metal?
I can see upgrades, but could these have been in the field?

Any way.... Look closer under all 4 corners of your rear sight, note the style staking or lack of and let us know.
