WWII USN Wings?
Hey guys, I picked up a pair of these wings at a local estate sale and was wondering if anyone could id them. They appear to be USN wings, but they are not the correct size?Attachment 35718Attachment 35719

I would have thought someone would have picked up this ball and run with it. I bought a set to display along with my USN Victory model S&W and have no idea if they are legitamate.

Looks to be a Naval/Marine Aviator's wings You can sort through and figure out who made them HERE on the page where I found them.

It looks like a navy warfare PIN. ITs gold so it was earned by an officer. Theres a bunch of them for surface warfare and sub warfare. there a bunch more also. i dont know what these are for maybe navy pilots? you have to go through a lot of classes and oralboards to earn them.

Thanks for all the comments. Since I have been collecting wings, I'm glad I got a pair of navy ones and didnt even realize.

Are these authentic or reproductions? Seem to have some patina but no markings.
Any opinions?
