I am looking forward to watching this site get up and go. It looks like a lot of hard work was and is being put into it. Talk about a labor of love. Badger, Greentips and Sparhawk, you've gone above and beyond to do this. Thanks very much. A Collector's View - The SMLE Short Magazine Lee Enfield 1903-1989. It is 300 8.5x11 inch pages with 1,000+ photo’s, most in color, and each book is serial-numbered. Covering the SMLE from 1903 to the end of production in India in 1989 it looks at how each model differs and manufacturer differences from a collecting point of view along with the major accessories that could be attached to the rifle. Kudos should go to the CGN admin staff for working with us to ensure this site is a compliment to CGN, and not a competitor. It's a nasty world out there and when we can all hug and "just get along", well, it makes me all warm and fuzzy...

As long as it's a real military surplus SKS, it's fine. Otherwise, not so fine.

All questions about commercial Norinco SKS's and M305's should be directed to Badger, given his affinity for those rifles...
