    Hi there.

Hi, I'm a new collector. I am considering a variety of C&R purchases and i am impressed by the professionalism, attitudes and overall community here at Milsurps.com. I decided to join the forum and participate. I am generally inexperienced and am looking forward to learning from the community and contributing to its body of productive members.

Here's to another know nothing with questions you've already answered.... Yesterday!

    Cheers,

    Hello from Belgium!

    Hi all!
My name is Jean, 33, from Liège in Belgiumicon.
I began to invest in "Historical Steel & Wood, Inc." like a friend of mine said one day, since 1998 and after years of collecting everything from Mausers, Enfields, to Carcanos and classic others, I got the crush with the Mosin Nagants.
I try to focus as possible on non-refurbish Russianicon and Finlandicon related M91, M91/30, PU snipers for the moment.

In the hope to learn from you and share on our passion,

    amicalement,
    Jean

    hi everyone..

hi there from mississippi. I am just a rookie collector (i`ve been collecting for about 7 months) and my collection varies in ages from some pre-ww1 rifles to ww2 and even some newer custom rifles modeled from vietnam era guns, since my father was a marine during that time. I have a mosin, a 303 ishapore enfield no1 mk3*, an early sporterized long branch enfiled no4 mk1*, an m14 newly made, a pristine ww2 type 99 arisaka with the mum rubbed off, an m1 carbine, an ar15 that looks like the old m16, a model 1888 commission rifle, and a model 1870/87/15 italian vetterli vitali chambered in 6.5x52mm carcano. I hope someday to learn about reloading for my older rifles and also gain more knowledge about my older pieces since i am a true history buff and would like to know more. thanks everyone.

    Hello everybody!

My name is Christopher and I'm a milsurp collector.

I'm located in Seattle, Washington and though my collection is small (kids, divorce, and graduate school can do that) I'm pretty obsessive about it.

I'm mainly interested in WWII era Lee Enfields, and US infantry arms.

It's been a few years since I've been active with my collection but I'm trying to get back into it a bit. In fact I'll be heading over to the Lee Enfield forum here in a bit to show off my newest acquisition.

I just found this forum, but so far I'm very impressed with the level of knowledge and quality of discourse that i've found while lurking about.

I'm excited to be a part of it.

    Cheers,
    Chris

    Israeli 98k Mauser Bayonet

Salutations. I signed up for this site because I am trying to help sell an Israeli 98k Mauser Bayonet for a Hollywod actor friend of mine who's dad was in the Israeli military back in the 1940s. I do not know a lot about this bayonet except that it looks like its in excellent condition for being this old. I'm considering buying it myself. Everything looks like its in working condition with its spring loaded button and scabbard. It has a serial number of #17857. I do not know how to post a picture of it yet but I will research this matter. I haven't posted it up on ebay yet but I am also researching this avenue as well. If anyone has any suggestions or recommendations please let me know. I thought this might be of interest to someone on this site? It would be nice to sell this to someone who can match it with type of rifle it belongs to. I haven't found that much information online about it nor can I read the Israeli inscriptions on it.
