YAY!
Isn't it good to get excited about something. I feel like the older I get, the less I get excited about. I'm so jaded.

WOW! Original unmarked Type IA band on the 11-43 dated Inland barrel. THE ONLY WEAR ON THE BARREL is from the type I band! No Type II or Type III band shadow on barrel, or the stock (IO Highwood oval with Crossed Cannons) with Inland buttplate and matching IO handguard for stock. The hammer is a Type III in the white with a NI on it. The flat bolt is marked I and something else. The type V PI marked slide is the only thing that does not match for its date and serial number.
Oh, did I mention that an M2 30-06 shows a full 1/4" at the muzzle, and the bore is like new. Maybe some pictures tomorrow. The finish is 95%+
EDIT: No stake marks on the sight bridge, The Type I rear sight seems to be original to the receiver.

Mike, did you ever check out the un-messed with Underwood that (Rod had there before he sold) I told you about? IIRC, it was almost as nice as this Inland.
