Apart from "Rheinmetall", I can't read anything either.
Correct that, I think it's "Rheinmetall-Borsig"

Rheinmetall-Borsig
Aktiengesellschaft Werk Düsseldorf
i.e.
Rheinmetall-Borsig Joint-Stock Company
Düsseldorf Works
This name was adopted in 1936, after Rheinmetall had taken over the locomotive builder Borsig in 1933.
Rheinmetall always was - and still is - a substantial arms manufacturer.
A good pic of the other arm of the propeller might enable me to identify the markings, and thus provide a clue to the why and wherefore of this item.

I think this is it:

Seller thought it was intended as a souvenir paper-knife. Could well be.
