    There are some very late A3 rifles made in early '44. Production stopped in Feb. of that year.

    There were plenty of '03's rebuilt in that year, but no new production.

    If you want a '44 dated '03, just get a rebuild. Plenty of nice '03's with excellent '44 dated HS barrels out there.
