VZ-24 original scope base Question
Hello Everyone, I recently purchased a VZ-24 and it appears to have dovetail style portions grounded out of the receiver. Based on what I've found, it was ground to allow for the original scope bases. I was curious if anyone knew anything about the original VZ-24's with scopes. Did they use a VZ-24 as a sniper rifle? I can't find any information in regards to that so any information is greatly appreciated. Thanks!

That is a fine rifle. Did you buy it that way or did you piece it together? Mine has the same areas grounded for the bases like yours. Any ideas were I might found the scope bases or any part of the scope assemble (mounts, bases, rings, etc.)? THANK YOU

No, it came that way. It is fully matching numbers. Please do not be confused since the scope mount bears different numbers. The two digits at the front are the end digits of the rifle S/N, the two digits at the rear and the two digits at the top of the front are the end digits of the scope S/N. Only the scope can is not matching numbers.
The scope is very scarce and hardly comes by. If you search on Google for "VZ24 sniper" you'll find further pictures of rifles.

THANKS Lee! Please excuse my ignorance but what is the difference between the two options on Numrich...besides almost $50 and the blued vs. white?
