Help for production date of a inland carbine

i can buy a inland carbine with the serialnumber 667833xx. i would wonder, what date it is.On the barrel should be also a date,is that correct?
and second:witch rear sight is correct? a flip one,or the second milled one? barrel band is probably a second type and no one with the bayonetlug. i havent seen the rifle, because it is for an auction.
    thanks for help,Etienne

January 1945. The barrel date will be very close to the build date. And as Mr. Belflowers said both the milled rear marked PI or HI and stamped rear adjustable rear sight marked I.R.Co or JAO are correct. But the JAO may be a bit to late for your serial number. The barrel band is also as as he said a type 3 with the bayonet lug.

Thank you much for your help. Now,my friend saw this carbine.
the barrel is dated 12-53, front sight is marked with a N
    type two rear sight,(milled)
    and type two barrel band
the flip safety, a 30rounds magazine and a german sling, where on the clip is marked,"Zieh hier"
and the price for that auction is ca.400$
i dont buy this one. i owned 5 carbines incl.a MI A1,and all have more or less not the "correct parts"
    thanks,etienne

With a date of 12-53 on the barrel it's a replacement and most likely from Springfield Armory. Should be marked SA on it too.
