New Quartermaster Stores feedback thread !! (leave comments here)
Hello folks…
It's been about a month or so now, since we announced the conversion of our Quartermaster Stores (click here) classifieds system into a dynamic new Internet wide "firearms friendly" marketplace, powered by our partner, Enthusify. This new classifieds environment has been completely redesigned and the Enthusify team are both gun friendly and very responsive. One major benefit of the new marketplace is an automatic payment protection service that helps protect buyers and sellers.
For more detailed information on how the new system works, please check out this Read Me First ! thread.
The purpose of this thread here, is to get feedback from those of you who have used it, whether it be an actual selling experience, or simply viewing the various ads posted so far….
Personally, I placed a marketplace ad selling a very nice piece from my own personal collection and it sold in less than 48 hours.
The Enthusify team will be monitoring this thread for comments and feedback, so please provide any suggestions or comments, which will be helpful to them in their ongoing design and development of our new classifieds service.
Thanks for your support…
Regards,
Doug

It's nice software. I think the ability to click on a pic and then click to the left or right edge of the pic to browse the others would be a big help.

Thanks for taking a moment to check it out and thanks for the feedback. We get that feature added to the product roadmap.

I like some of the new features that have been added in the most recent update..
New Or Best Offer (OBO) system!
When creating a listing, a seller can indicate if he/she would like to accept best offers for the item. If a seller is accepting offers, buyers can submit an offer from the item’s info page. Using the messaging system, a seller can send a buyer a link to a unique checkout page that corresponds to a special price for the item. Sellers can cancel offers they’ve sent to buyers.
Also, there's now a link in a member's information that appears in any post they make, which directs other members to that poster's personal ads.
Regards,
Doug

Although I only sold one item it went smooth and seamless.

We have updated our Quartermaster Stores Classifieds System, completely eliminating the use of the old forum based 'WTS' section of our site.
For more detailed information on how the new system works, please check out this Read Me First ! (click here) thread.
Maintaining the old system was simply to complicated for a number of our members, so we've reduced the complexity down to a single "selling" environment, with multiple payment collection options available to members.
Using the WTB/WTT (Want to Buy or Trade) continues to be forum based until the software that operates our Quartermaster Stores supports that kind of transaction. For more detailed information on how the WTB/WTT (Want to Buy or Trade) works, please check out this Read Me First ! (click here) thread.
Thanks to everyone who has helped us with the testing of this new (more secure) classifieds approach...
Regards,
Doug

I'm liking it, except most of the goodies are in Canada
(which is my problem, not yours!). Much easier and quicker to browse.

Yah, now you got me lusting after a '91 Argentine
carbine again. Brings back memories of the teenage collecting days. Brutal to shoot with no padding. (Neither heavy clothes nor flesh to protect the bones back then...)
