I am new here
I have been shooting for over 40 years and only now do i have the time to do it right. I started rounding out my collection in the past few years and started reloading and casting about a year ago.
I mostly like shooting paper but have taken a couple of nice bucks.
I shoot mostly single shot bolt guns. I have a few that are based on the 1871 Mauser action. I shoot a model 99 my dad brought back from Japan
and an 1891 all original Argentine
Mauser. I have my mind set on a 6.5 swede for my next accquision
I live in the Hudson Valley of New York and hope to learn a lot here

Just got done taking my Lee Enfield Mod 4 MK 1 apart and cleaning it. Now I have to find time to take it to the range after I check headspace as my bolt is not original to the rifle. I am also a blackpowder shooter. I like the informative people that i have found in the forums as they answered a lot of questions as i went through my rifle. Thanks, Dan

Howdy y'all!
New to the board, lurked awhile, though.
Got my C&R a few months back, but, sad to say, haven't bought the first C&R gun with it yet.
Way back when, I had a couple pass through my hands, wish I'd kept the Remington Rand!
Got my fingers crossed on an '03A3 & an Enfield possibly coming out of pawn in a local shop.
Anyway, looking to utilize the collective wisdom of the site in future acquisitions!
(My husband hates to hear "future acquisitions". I just tell him it could be worse, I could be into shoes, handbags & diamonds!
)

Hey all. New Canadian
member here. I'm far from a collector, but have been working on deciphering the hieroglyphics on my grandfather's LE I inherited several years ago. Only been on the board a day and already have received more info that I know what to do with!
