Help with I.D. on old U.S. Air Force or Air Corp Wings Pin
Hello all,
Can anyone I.D. this U.S. aviation pin? I have scoured the web all day but can't find anything exactly like it. It sort of looks like some of the circa WWI pins, but I just can't make a positive I.D. Any info would be greatly appreciated.
Many thanks

Can you post a pick of the back of the badge?

My friend actually bought it from a regional on-line auction place, and he can't pick it up until Thursday. I stole the frontal pic from the auction listing. I will have him send me a picture of the back of it as soon as he gets it Thursday. Thanks!

That is very interesting. Never thought of that. Thanks. Here's a picture of the back of the pin. There doesn't appear to be any marking on it, so perhaps it is a PX item?

I've seen a very similar set of wings that were identified as US Mail air carrier wings from the `20's & '30's.
