I did a little research on just the Bullet Diameter, to see if any custom caliber or wildcat stuff came up, and interestingly enough, the rifle picture in the atricle (I will post link at the bottom) is very much so similar to your rifle I thought you may find this very interesting, and perhaps lead you in the right direction with your search for the caliber etc...
