M1 mags ebay
Funny I just bought and received some mags over 10 rounds off of ebay about 2 weeks ago...

If you had your carbine and mags before Jan 1 2000 you are grand fathered in and can have them in California. Same with high cap pistol mags owned before that date.
I have never been asked at the range. Most guys are just fasinated by seeing a carbine. You get a lot of questions.
The GI mags I see listed do not looked pinned. I am thinking the sellers only say that to keep their listing from being removed.
I also live in California, and have never been asked about my high-caps at the range. In fact even out doing the high country patrol with the Carbine with a 30 in it and high caps in my S&W 9mm, I see CHP and EDSO deputies all the time, they never ask, either.

This thread started out asking about magazines seen on eBay that are legal in some areas, just not in California since 1999. That was just informational, not political.
Rokwell's post, with a link, has turned this thread towards being political. We do not want to go in that direction. And or start any heated discussions.
For those reasons I removed the Bloomberg link, and am closing this thread.
