New to me 1903 - ammo question

OK, have an M1icon and know the req for specific M1 ammo specs (factory and reload) to keep pressure down and not bend an op rod...

Have a 1903 on the way. High number SA (w/ nickel steel). I am sure the M1 spec ammo will work just fine in it.

But will the 1903 handle standard 30-06 factory ammo (and reloads)? Thanx

I would think the bolt action should be fine with any ammo.
