    New member here. I've been into milsurp firearms for quite a while, but I started with Second World War era militaria from a young age. I have been "lurking" on the milsurp forum for a while, but I figured I might as well join in.

    I have a Springfield M1icon Garand with original strap excellent condition.
    * Serial number on the rifle is 321586 with bill of sale M1Grand National Match
    * Barrel number LMRd8535448-1 53 A7
    * Activator number 7790722SA 3K-641-42

    * Rifle caliber 1005-00-674-1425
    * CDR Anniston Army Depot Government of US weapon serial number 5417421

    When Springfield made this rifle do all the serial numbers have to match?
    Does this rifle have serial numbers\ based on the parts to build it and identify each piece?

    My email to reach me on is harleylady1106@gmail.com

    Any help would be greatly appreciated.

    Sincerely,
    Annette

    New member from Northern CA.
    I have been selling military surplus items on eBay for years, mostly Swissicon and Germanicon.
    I don’t have much inventory any more. I do have a few thousand Swiss bayonet frogs.
    I am looking for a cheap scabbard for one of the larger Swiss bayonets e.g. K-31, saw back or other large bayonet (condition is unimportant). I want to use it to try to stretch some shrunken frogs.
    I also have a few frogs I could use a little help identifying if I can figure out how to post pictures.
    Sincerely, Bert
