The new T-47 lightweight automatic rifle resembles the older model but uses a larger ammunition clip and has a small cylindrical recoil reducer on the muzzle.

A Collector's View - The SMLE Short Magazine Lee Enfield 1903-1989. It is 300 8.5x11 inch pages with 1,000+ photo’s, most in color, and each book is serial-numbered. Covering the SMLE from 1903 to the end of production in India in 1989 it looks at how each model differs and manufacturer differences from a collecting point of view along with the major accessories that could be attached to the rifle. In addition to the muzzle brake and the wood handguard, take a look at how much of the bottom of the receiver near the trigger housing group is exposed. I never had a good look at the T47 like this before.

Looks like a version of Earl Harvey's T25 rifle.

As I started looking at the photo, I kept saying to my self,"That's a different looking Garand icon

, until I could see the whole photo. Then I just thought, "WOW"
