Terribly tempted last weekend to go the the NZicon Govt auction of No8 and No9 .22 ex-cadet force weapons - could not believe our Govt would ignore the UN Protocol - signed by our former Labour Govt - requiring us to destroy them. Circumstances prevented me from attending but reported prices were from NZ$350 to NZ$900 - 1 NZ dollar = US 50cents.
