Covering the SMLE from 1903 to the end of production in India in 1989 it looks at how each model differs and manufacturer differences from a collecting point of view along with the major accessories that could be attached to the rifle. Hello Im 39 and have just had the pleasure of falling in love with the M1 icon

garand for the first time. A good friend of mine probably more like a mentor got me hooked when he let me shoot his then I just had to have one. I ordered one from the CMP icon

last year and was blown away when a HRA service grade that had a throat of 1 and a muzzle of 2 with USGI wood as well it is my new favorite riffle and I had a blast taking it deer hunting this year.

Just wanted to say Hi to you & tell you a bit about myself. I live in a small country town in NSW. Australia icon

with my wife & teenaged daughter. I have been shooting & military collecting for 30 odd years now & am enjoying the shooting even more now that I am retired. I shoot military pistols rifles & shoot western action with my Family.
