Ramair3, you'll have to elaborate because either me or Ridolpho have got something amiss........ You say that the sight you HAD is a two position flip-over sight. You have changed this for a micrometer sight. Correct?
What micrometer sight do you have. Most micrometer sights that we know of have range AND deflection adjustment facility built in.
Are you saying that you have fitted a bog standard No4 rifle range adjustable backsight that goes from 2 to 1300 yards? If so, that isn't a micrometer sight. It's just a Mk1 adjustable backsight
