I also think the cut down FSB is better than anything you can buy. Having tried the alternatives several times, I finally accepted that "Bubba'd" is better than store bought.

I'm often surprised at the number of guys who will slag you for cutting a pinned FSB down while preaching the use of a set-screw or clamp-on block. It's a critical point in the whole AR system and the pinned FSB isn't going to let you down!

I have used clamp blocks with no issues and the set-screw block is fine if the barrel is dimpled.

I know this is off topic but, does anyone use Tapatalk on their mobile? Stevo, I can see your pics from your last post fine but from my last post I can't. I have to load it in the web to see them, and I assume you just uploaded them aand attached them inline with your post?
