Ah right, thanks Peter, that explains the brush's inclusion in the L96 CES and the bottle not being listed on the sheet.

There are a few L96's out there that just seem to have escaped captivity and the cutting torch, including mine and a couple of others that I know about. If yoy put up L96 you might fins a few pics of the latest CES that includes the compass and spotting scope etc etc.

Thanks for the heads up on the CES photos, great to see the later additions. I've almost completed my own L96 CES, Just a couple of bits left to find now, one of which is that little screwdriver! It LOOKS to be a standard commercial item that I should be able to track down. Any idea who the manufacturer of it would be Peter?

It was indeed a standard commercial screwdriver and the handle came in many different coloured variations from yellow, clear orangy red to black and a reddy brown.

Oho! I'm spoilt for choice. Think I'll track down a clear orangy red one.
Cheers Peter.

Congrats to the seller!! He comes up with some beautiful items!! Let's see if the others he has bring that kind of money.
Can you say what auction it was? I have an example of the bottle and brush from my TA days. I would like to sell. Dean dean.marks48@gmail.com

Here are photos of the front and back of the Draper "Chubby" 6x38mm cabinet pattern screwdriver. Please note that the issue version has additional markings: the handle is marked 194971 and the blade is marked 1365589-UT???.
