Milsurp Target Competition and Shoot (2013)

I would like to get a ruling BEFORE I go forward with my plans. I am going to do some minor update work on my Ruger 10/22. It already shoots better than I can, but want to play around some with some simply touches. The enhancements planed are; NEW stock maybe with bedding, Simple trigger polish, and measurement table of torque on assembly screws.
My question for ruling is:
Can I submit for score 2 targets at both 25 & 50 yards with my 10/22 in its present condition, then submit another set of targets after modification as if it is a different gun?
