Hello, all. Been collecting CW, WWI, WWII (Army and USMC) Korean and Vietnam gear since the 1980s. I have been restoring a 1942 M3A1 Scout Car for a number of years. Anyone in the North Dallas/Plano area?

First post time. I joined a few weeks ago and have been viewing the forum without posting. I'm a post WWII baby and just about ready to retire. My Father served in the ETO from 1942 to 1945. My older brother, born in 1942 after Dad shipped out, served in the USAF from 1960 to 1964. I served in the USAF from 1966 to 1970.
As a young sprout I think I wore out most of the uniforms Dad brought home from the war playing Army in the '50's.
I recently had the opportunity to aquire both a M1 Garand and a Remington 1903-A3 from a WWII Navy Vet who served on the U.S.
Nevada. He saw action in the Pacific, Atlantic and I think he said the Med.
The above two purchases have peaked my interest in U.S. Milsurps to the point I have also aquired a Remington 1917 and a 1903 Remington from WWII. Now to start looking for the proper equipment to go with them.

Hi folks, I'm new to the site and have a question.
I recently acquired a No 32 mkII sniper scope repro but can find no info on how to adjust it. Also, the windage turret is hard to turn. Is there a way to loosen it up?
Any help would be greatly appreciated.

New to the Site!
I am a military firearms buff and retired US Army National Guard Warrant Officer. My hobby is to take Sporterized former military Bolt Action rifles and make sniper rifles out of them as it is much to expensive and risky to use the real ones! Always looking for a good deal on surplus GI parts!

Hello, I think I may have happened up on a unique site. I was searching a Weaver scope I have, a 330 scope - m.8 and this site popped up several times. I got this scope on an old 1940's or 1950''s custom Russian

Hello everyone,
New Guy here.
I'm a recently retired "newbie" from Maryland, and have been interested in Military Firearms and Militaria for over 40 years. As a USMC vet. and WWII buff, I have collected and gathered a few of my "treasures" over that time.
This site appears to be fantastic for the knowledge that is shared. I'm going to enjoy this trip.
I look forward to viewing and learning from the various forums. Thanks for having me on board!

New member here. More of a Mauser collector, some late war pieces, some I have sportered. I do enjoy casting and shooting the oldies for over 20 years now. Hope to be a regular reader/contributor.
Thanks
