Sure wish I didn't "look up" or even commented on the rifle in the first place. Don't be to hard on yourself, the guy is not only a nut case but looks like he's also a thief. Unless he is willing to take a return. I think his response's to your questions would have bothered me more than the pictures of the rifle. I would at least try and return it as it sure does not sound like 99 % correct.
