Reloading M1895 nagant revolver ammo
I recently purchased an M1895 Nagant Revolver and a box of prvi partizan ammo (50 rounds for $25...OUCH!!). After spending a couple hours last night watching The Nagant Man's YouTube videos about reloading the 32-20 case, trimming the rim, reforming the case I got to thinking.......could you take once fired 7.62X38 brass, cut it down to the same length as a 32-20 case and then reload it to the spec's that The Nagant Man laid out in his video...ie... the same powder load, the same bullet and the same OAL. Any thoughts or am I out in left field.

Yes, but if you have .30 carbine dies available, you can use those and if they include a crimp die, you don't even need to cut them down.
When they tell you to behave, they always forget to specify whether to behave well or badly!

I don't want to hijack a thread here but Where do I find the info on that? Since throwing out good brass is almost a mortal sin I think I would like to try it.

I think there is a complete section on this at castboolits.com

Have you tried .32 SW or H&R Mag Brass?

I have shot 32 H&R and 32 S&W longs in my M95 the S&W longs shot fine the H&R mags were to hot for my Nagant. The cases split on both.
I reload 32-20 Starline brass using Lee M95 dies and a M1
Carbine LFCD. The Nagant Mans Trail Boss is a good load. I have also used Bullseye, unique and Reddot powders. I have a 32 ACP cylinder and i load for that as well. I would not cut down your Nagant Brass i would load as is. Here is a how to on loading Nagant brass using Lee M95 Nagant dies and a 223 sizing die. It looks easy to do. I will be trying it soon.
